At RIS, our vision is to develop students in all aspects of their lives; therefore we create situations that enable them to explore many questions and cases they might face in real life. Some of the main goals that we assure students to have are to be inquirer, open minded, reflective, knowledgeable, thinker, and communicators and we managed to gather all these characters in one activity that achieved our goals. To support our themes who we are and how we organize ourselves, parents shared their journey for different cultures with the students.

On Thursday 31 October 2019, our school celebrated cultural diversity. 8 cultures were represented by Rand International KG section .Teachers and students wearing different kind of costumes and having variety of pictures, food, and traditional stuff for each culture.
The traditional announcement for airplane take off, flights schedule, and some music related to flying were everywhere giving you the sense of packing up your bags.

Students were given boarding pass to go through all classes and take the stamp of the country they were visiting. They went through China, Turkey, Emirates, Bahrin , Egept, America, and India. In each class they got the chance to know about a certain country and all what is related to it (costume, food, language, traditions, rules, flag, and currency). Teachers were responsible of giving presentation while students were giving stamps to visitors. Students were very excited and curious about the culture they presented as well as the one they visited, they were asking, laughing, and even surprised by some of the cultures. At the end of the activity, students had some discussions with their teachers about what they saw and what was the most thing they liked and disliked and what was the different between our culture and other cultures and finally got the main idea of the activity which was to accept difference and similarities among people, they can work and get along with others better.

روؤيتنا في لمدرسة هي تطور الطلاب في جميع جوانب حياتهم لذالك نحن نخلق مواقف تمكنهم من استكشاف العديد من الاسئلة والحالات التي قد يواجهونها في الحياة الواقعيه.و تتمثل في بعض الأهداف الرئيسية التي نؤكد للطلاب على انهم متسائلون ,منفتحي الذهن, متأملين ,ذو معرفة,مفكرين و متواصلين
مهتمين ومسئولين و تدعيما لمرحلة التحقق في البحث والاستكشافمن وحدة ( من نحن وكيف ننظم انفسنا ) تمكنا ايضا من جمع هذه الشخصيات في نشاط واحد يحقق اهدافنا
شاركت بعض الامهات رحلتهم لثقافات متعددة قا موا بزيارتها مع الطلاب .
احتفت روضة رند العالميه يوم الخميس الموافق 31 اكتوبر 2019 بالتنوع الثقافي ومثلت 8 ثقافات متعدده
ارتدى الاطفال والمعلمات انواع مختلفه من الأزياء كما يوجد صور متنوعه¸مواد غذائية و اشياء تقليدية خاصه لكل ثقافة
تم منح الطلاب بطاقة صعودالى الطائرة للدخول الى جميع الفصول واخذ الختم الخاص بالدولة التي قاموا بزيارتها ولقد مروا عبر الصين¸الامارات والبحرين وتركيا , امريكا والهند مصر في كل فصل حصلوا على فرصة للتعرف على بلد معين وكل مايتعلق به من زي/طعام/عملة/لغة/تقاليد/قواعد وعلم . كان العلمون مسؤؤلين عن العروض التقديمية بينما كان الطلاب يقدمون طوابع للزائرين كان الطلاب متحمسين للغاية ومتسائلين للثاقفه التي قدموها وزاروها وكانوا يسئلون ويضحكون بل مندهشون من بعض الثقافات في نهاية النشاط اجرى الطلاب بعض من المناقشات مع المعلمات حول مارؤوه وماكان اكثر شي اعجبهم ومالم يعجبهم وكذالك الفرق بين ثقافاتنا والثقافات الاخرى واخيرا وصلنا للفكرة الرئيسية للنشاط وهي تقبل اوجه الشبه والاختلاف بين الاخرين يمكننا من العمل والتواصل مع الاخرين بشكل افضل
